CRPF Recruitment Process 2023
CRPF Recruitment process for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) in 2023 will consist of several stages such as Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
The recruitment will be conducted on a domicile-based pattern and only online applications will be accepted. The CBT will be conducted in both English and Hindi by CRPF. The eligibility certificates/documents will be collected and verified during DME, and category-wise vacancies will be filled as per the vacancies available in various States/UTs.

The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in CBT, subject to qualifying the PST/PET/Trade test/Medical examination, and other conditions stipulated in the Recruitment Notice. Admit cards will not be sent by post, and candidates will have to download them from the CRPF website.

Educational Qualifications
The educational and professional qualifications required for each trade/post are provided below:
CT/Driver:
- Minimum Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board or university recognized by the Central or State Govt.
- Should possess Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License and pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.
CT/Mechanic Motor Vehicle:
- Minimum Matriculate or 10th Class pass in 10+2 examination system from a recognized board or equivalent.
- Possessing 02 years Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by National or State Council for Vocational training or any other recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade OR
- National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade of three-year duration from a recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned Trade.
For all other Tradesmen:
- Minimum Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt or equivalent.
- Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
CT (Mason/Plumber/Electrician):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.One year experience in respective trades like Masonry or Plumbing or
- Preference will be given to those having a certificate of trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute.
Educational Qualification
- Science Subjects:
- Passed 10+2 in Mathematics, Physics, and English from a COBSE member Education Board with a minimum of
- 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- OR Passed a 3-year Engineering Diploma course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- OR Passed a 2-year Vocational course with Physics and Mathematics from COBSE member State Education Boards/Councils with 50% aggregate and 50% in English in the vocational courses.
- Other than Science Subjects:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream/subjects approved by COBSE member Central/State Education Boards with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- OR Passed a 2-year vocational course from COBSE member Education Boards with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 50% in English in the vocational course.
