The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has announced the recruitment for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) for both male and female candidates in 2023.
The online applications for the same will be accepted from 27/03/2023 to 25/04/2023, and the Computer Based Test is tentatively scheduled from 01/07/2023 to 13/07/2023. The Admit Card for the test will be available for download from 20/06/2023 to 25/06/2023.

CRPF Recruitment Process 2023
CRPF Recruitment process for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) in 2023 will consist of several stages such as Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
The recruitment will be conducted on a domicile-based pattern and only online applications will be accepted. The CBT will be conducted in both English and Hindi by CRPF. The eligibility certificates/documents will be collected and verified during DME, and category-wise vacancies will be filled as per the vacancies available in various States/UTs.

The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in CBT, subject to qualifying the PST/PET/Trade test/Medical examination, and other conditions stipulated in the Recruitment Notice. Admit cards will not be sent by post, and candidates will have to download them from the CRPF website.

The educational and professional qualifications required for each trade/post are provided below:
- Minimum Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board or university recognized by the Central or State Govt.
- Should possess Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License and pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.
CT/Mechanic Motor Vehicle:
- Minimum Matriculate or 10th Class pass in 10+2 examination system from a recognized board or equivalent.
- Possessing 02 years Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by National or State Council for Vocational training or any other recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade OR
- National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade of three-year duration from a recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned Trade.
For all other Tradesmen:
- Minimum Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt or equivalent.
- Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.One year experience in respective trades like Masonry or Plumbing or
- Preference will be given to those having a certificate of trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute.
- Science Subjects:
- Passed 10+2 in Mathematics, Physics, and English from a COBSE member Education Board with a minimum of
- 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- OR Passed a 3-year Engineering Diploma course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- OR Passed a 2-year Vocational course with Physics and Mathematics from COBSE member State Education Boards/Councils with 50% aggregate and 50% in English in the vocational courses.
- Other than Science Subjects:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream/subjects approved by COBSE member Central/State Education Boards with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- OR Passed a 2-year vocational course from COBSE member Education Boards with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 50% in English in the vocational course.

- Candidates must apply online through the official website of the CRPF.
- The application portal will be open from March 27, 2023 to March 25, 2023.
- Candidates should submit their applications well in advance of the closing date to avoid disconnection or login failure due to heavy traffic on the website.
- Before submitting the online application, candidates should ensure that all details provided are correct.
- No change/correction/modification will be allowed after submission of the online application.
- Applications received through post, fax, email, or by hand will not be accepted.
Application Fee and Payment Details:
- Male candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC categories are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 100.
- SC/ST, female candidates, and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fee.
- The fee can be paid online through various modes such as BHIM UPI, net banking, credit/debit cards.
- Applications received without the prescribed fee will be rejected.
- The fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted against any other examination or selection.
- Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure that their fee has been deposited to avoid their application being rejected.
