
Himachal Pradesh’s Eco-Friendly Mini Zoo Welcomes Bengal Tigers:
Exciting news for animal lovers! The Mini Zoo Shirerenukaji in Himachal Pradesh is preparing to welcome a pair of majestic Bengal tigers in May, and they’ll have a brand new fence to keep them safe and happy. The construction project is set to take about three months and will cost 12 million rupees. We’re happy to report that the wildlife department has already received approval to bring the tigers to Renukaji from the Central Zoo Authority.
The enclosure will be modern and eco-friendly, complete with air conditioning, and is being constructed by the HPSEBL. DFO Shimla, Ravishankar Sharma, confirmed that the fence will be ready in three months, at which point the tigers will be brought over from Delhi Zoo. We can’t wait to welcome these amazing animals to their new home!
